The Everygirl Podcast
In its 10th year, the Everygirl launched its self-named podcast. The identity needed to dovetail with the Everygirl’s existing brand to feel at home in the well-established Instagram feed, yet feel distinct and recognizable. Drawing on the show’s tagline “The same brand you know and love—now in a whole new format,” the visual identity needed to capture the fresh-but-familiar feeling of the podcast itself. We repurposed custom lettering commissioned in the brand’s early days–a recognizable graphic for the brand’s most loyal audience members–and built a modern and geometric identity in contrast to the flowing calligraphy.

Drawing from the Everygirl’s brand fonts, H1s are set in ultra wide and futuristic Termina, while subheadings and body copy use the more reserved Brandon Grotesque. We borrowed from the brand’s legacy color palette—beige, blush, black, white—and injected a contrasting olive green.
With co-hosts Alaina Kaz and Josie Santi interviewing the brains and personalities behind household brands like Our Place and The Real Housewives, we wanted to place guests front and center. To accommodate headshots of very different styles, subjects are isolated on a beige background with the Everygirl Podcast logo consistently placed in the upper left corner.
More than 100 total templates were created to support the team’s content strategy, including graphic treatments for quotes, episode summaries, and listener reviews, as well as motion graphic templates for show excerpts.
Graphic elements alternate between abstract crops of the logo’s looping calligraphy and highly-structured, geometric lines, grids, and frames.
